Boost levels are the part of Discord boosting that trips people up. A server doesn't get "some perks per boost" — it gets nothing until it crosses a threshold, then a whole tier of features at once. What Boost Levels Mean

A boost level is a tier of server features that Discord switches on once the server has enough boosts. There are three levels above the unboosted baseline, and each includes everything from the tiers below it.

The level is a property of the server, not of any member. Everyone in a Level 2 server gets the Level 2 perks, whether or not they personally boosted.

What Happens When a Server Reaches a Higher Level

The moment the count crosses a threshold:

How to Check a Server's Current Boost Status

Open the server, click its name (or header on mobile) and choose Server Boost. The screen shows the current boost count, the level, a progress bar to the next level, and the list of members who are boosting. Owners and admins see the same view; there's no separate admin page for it.
