How the calculator works
Discord unlocks Level 1 at 2 boosts, Level 2 at 7 and Level 3 at 14, and recalculates the level from the live count — so a server sitting exactly on a threshold loses the level the moment one boost lapses. The calculator adds the headroom you choose on top of the threshold and subtracts what the server already has. Boosts from members' Nitro and boosts from a package count the same way.
Don't know the current count? The server scanner reads it from any invite link. For the reasoning behind headroom, see how many boosts your server needs; for what each level includes, the levels guide; and for how long boosts last, boost duration explained.
